• How is a Google-certified Android streamer different from a normal streamer?
  An official Google Android streamer has Google TV Launcher, Google Assistant, Chromecast, Google Home and access to the Google Play Store. Normal TV Streamers don't have access to these Google features.
• Why might my Nokia Media Streamer be slow?
  Please check the memory consumption and number of apps downloaded. Please limit the memory consumption to 2GB for the best viewing experience.
• Will heavy gaming apps slow down the system performance?
  Yes, apps such as Deer Hunter Classic, Asphalt 8 and Dead Trigger may slow down the system due to their heavy graphic requirements.
• Why are apps such as Deer hunter, Asphalt 8 and other high-end games not working on my Nokia Media Streamer?
  These are very heavy-graphic games that require internet speeds greater than 50MBPS. Please check the memory on your device as these games need more than 1.2 GB of free memory. 
• Can I use Skype, Hangouts or Duo by connecting to a webcam?
  No, the Media Streamer doesn't support webcam.
• Does it have HDR support?
  No, the Nokia Media Streamer doesn't support HDR, but it supports full HD resolution. 
• Can I use my mobile hotspot to connect to this streamer?
  Yes, you can use your mobile hotspot to connect to the Nokia Media Streamer. A good network speed will give the best performance.
• Does this device support Netflix?
  Yes, the device supports Netflix.
• Does this device support Prime Video?
  Yes, the device supports Prime Video.
• Can I cast from an iPhone using Google Cast or cast option?
  No, only Android device casting is supported.
• Can I install Netflix from the Play Store?
  Yes, you can install Netflix from the Play Store.
• Is the remote universal and will it work with a set-top box?
  No, it is not a universal remote and won't work with a set-top box.
• What casting technologies are enabled on the streamer?
  Only Chromecast is available. The streamer won't support Miracast/casting
• Does it have a web browser?
  A web browser doesn't come pre-installed, but you can easily side-load or download a browser via the Google Play Store. Puffin is a familiar web browser that works well with the streamer.
• What is the streamer’s start-up time?
  First time boot-up takes 3-5 minutes. If it is not switched off from mains power, then the next time takes just 30 seconds.
• Does the Nokia Media Streamer have any pre-loaded apps?
  It comes with pre-loaded official apps such as Netflix, Zee5, YouTube, Google Play Store, Google Movie, Google Music, Google Game, etc.
• How do perform a firmware/software update on Android streamers?
  Whenever a new version is available, a notification will pop up on the screen, or you can also check in Settings for system updates.
• What internet speed is sufficient for smooth performance?
  A minimum 40 MBPS speed is sufficient.
• How do I login into the Google Store?
  When you switch the media streamer on (when connected to your TV the first time) follow the sign-in steps for your Google account. After that you can access all Google apps. Without Google sign-in, the streamer will not work.
• Why can't I see YouTube or Google Movies on home page?
  When you switch the media streamer on (when connected to your TV the first time) follow the sign-in steps for your Google account. After that you can access all Google apps and YouTube.
• What is the streamer's ROM size?
  The ROM size is 8GB, but some of the memory space is automatically used by the operating system. The rest is available for use.
• Does Google Chromecast work with WiFi Direct?
  No, it only works when the media streamer and phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi router.
• Are all functions available on the Android TV remote app?
  No. Mute, Volume up/down, Channel up/down, Power off/on are not available.
• The media streamer shows only 4.2GB is available for apps, so does it really have 8GB ROM?
  Yes, it has 8GB ROM, but some of the memory is occupied by the operating system itself. All other memory is available for use. 
• Does it support Airtel TV?
  No, the Airtel TV application is not available for the Nokia Media Streamer in the Google Play Store.
• Why aren’t the internet and apps working - even after connection to the internet?
  Please check the time and date. If incorrect, please set it manually or synchronize to network time/date.
